Thanks to the technology patented by VBI 2000, LLC, SIGFX has the ability to use existing television transmissions for delivery of personal wireless communication services.

Most television broadcasters have included embedded, non-video information in their one-way-only transmissions for quite sometime. We believe our ability to make use of the existing worldwide television broadcasting infrastructure for two-way communication is revolutionary.

Transmitters already in place can now be used to send information to SIGFX wireless devices without affecting existing television transmissions. At each television site, Return Signal Processors (RSPs) will allow us to receive transmissions from our mobile devices over much greater distances than is possible today.

This new delivery model will make possible services beyond those offered commercially today... at a fraction of the infrastructure cost typically associated with traditional wireless service providers.
